Encouraging shooting, and what was worse taking all skill out of it. Which is in essence, was magical, nonsensical ability Not just navigation tool, but central mechanic. It made disguises underpowered, forcing to sneak around like traditional stealth game The way everyone in your profession group was an enforcer. Absolution was sadly worse than "Ok" for number of reasonsĭumb disguise mechanic. Hitman games are overall high quality, so even "Ok" game would stand out as the worst. It's a very quality level game, but not entirely Hitman one.īecause it was. There are some bugs, and mechanics which were made for casual audience but it doesn't entirely break the game. At least it gives you an opportunity to imagine different situations and findng new routes to complete mission (which I did, and was very pleased). This game should be played on normal only, even if it is too easy. That's why this games sucks total ass when you raise difficulty setting up. Some of the mechanics which are trying to work in Absolution simply do not work properly. I think once in a while it is ok to have a different type of perception.īUT. Although the game was streamlined to show personal vendetta story, I don't find it extremely bad. It was for Absolution, where funny dialogues appear, a lot of interesting interactions and attention to detail (fantastic visual design of Chicago). It is a very enjoyable game which suprisingly, in the end, worked as a stencil for H6. I'm following Hitman since I've played BM and others (Hitman 2: YAME edition etc.) and Absolution was the last I played, even after 2016. I have almost identical experience regarding the time when I played absolution.
